TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By purchasing a ticket (“Ticket”) for Ignition Community Conference 2026 (“Event”) or attending such Event, including any Tickets purchased prior to the posting of these Tickets Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), attendee of the Event (“Attendee”, “You”) acknowledges agrees that registration and attendance constitute acceptance of these Terms. Tickets purchased prior to the availability of these Terms are deemed to have agreed retroactively.
1. Ticket Scope and Rights. Tickets grant You a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to attend the Event in accordance with these Terms and all Event rules and policies established by Inductive Automation, LLC (“IA”). Tickets may not be resold or transferred without IA’s prior written consent. Unauthorized resale may result in cancellation without refund. Tickets confer no ownership, partnership, or other rights beyond Event admission.The Event is provided “as is” and “as available.” IA makes no representations or warranties regarding the Event, speakers, content, or materials.
2. Purchase and Payment. Tickets may be purchased only through IA or IA’s authorized ticketing platforms. All Ticket prices, fees, and applicable taxes will be disclosed at the time of purchase and must be paid in full at checkout using approved payment methods. IA reserves the right to change pricing, availability, or ticket categories at any time prior to purchase. Tickets are subject to a maximum limit per Attendee or account. IA reserves the right to cancel, without notice, any orders or Tickets exceeding this limit or those obtained through multiple accounts or false information.
3. Refund and Cancellation by Attendee. Except as expressly required by applicable law or approved in writing by IA, all Ticket purchases are final and non-exchangeable. However, if a cancellation request is submitted in writing at least 30 days prior to the Event start date, a full refund will be issued. After this period, Attendees must reach out to icc@inductiveautomation.com; otherwise, failure to attend the Event, partial attendance, or scheduling conflicts do not entitle the Attendee to a refund or credit. Failure to attend the Event, partial attendance, travel delays, illness, visa issues, or scheduling conflicts do not entitle the Attendee to a refund or credit. Attendee agrees not to attempt to evade any refund policy or seek a ‘chargeback’ from the credit card or payment company used for the Ticket purchase. IA reserves the right to cancel any Ticket immediately if a chargeback is initiated.
4. Event Changes or Cancellation. IA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify the Event name, agenda, speakers, format (including converting to a virtual or hybrid format), or location at any time.
(a) Rescheduling: If the Event is postponed or rescheduled, your Ticket will be valid for the new date/time; no refunds will be issued due to rescheduling.
(b) Cancellation: If the Event is canceled in its entirety for reasons within IA’s control, IA will issue a refund of the Ticket price paid to the original payment method. Any service, processing, or third-party fees are non-refundable.
(c) Force Majeure: If the Event is canceled, shortened, or delayed due to a Force Majeure event (including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, pandemics, or government orders), IA may, at its option, issue a credit for a future event in lieu of a refund.
(d) No Liability for Incidental Costs: In no event shall IA be liable for travel, lodging, or any other expenses incurred by Attendee in connection with a change, postponement, or cancellation.
5. Admission, Conduct, and Removal. Admission to the Event is subject to compliance with these Terms, all Event rules and policies, and IA’s Code of Conduct. IA reserves the right to deny admission or remove any Attendee who violates Event rules, engages in unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior, or fails to follow IA or venue instructions, without refund or compensation. Attendees and their belongings may be subject to search upon entry. Consent to such searches is a condition of admission; refusal may result in denial of entry without refund.
6. Age Restrictions. The Event is intended for adults only. No individual under the age of eighteen (18) may attend unless expressly approved in writing by IA. IA may require government-issued photo identification and may deny entry if proof of age is not provided.
7. Media Release and Consent. By purchasing a Ticket and attending the Event, You acknowledge that it is a public event and you have no expectation of privacy. You also grant IA a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, and royalty-free license to capture, record, and use Attendee’s name, likeness, voice, statements, and image of property (“Media”) in any format or medium now known or hereafter developed. IA may edit, modify, and distribute this Media for any commercial, marketing, or promotional purpose without further approval or compensation. Attendee acknowledges that IA is the sole owner of all intellectual property rights in such Media. Attendee hereby releases and discharges IA from any and all claims arising out of the use of the Media, including but not limited to defamation, invasion of privacy, or rights of publicity. To the extent permitted by California law, Attendee waives all “moral rights” in the Media. IA is under no obligation to use or publish any Media.
8. Assumption of Risk. Attendance at the Event is at Attendee’s own risk. Attendee voluntarily assumes all risks related to exposure to communicable diseases or illnesses (including COVID-19). Attendee also bears all risks of inclement weather. IA is not liable for travel or other expenses incurred in connection with a canceled, postponed, or rescheduled Event. IA is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, or for personal injury except to the extent caused by IA’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
9. Ticket Revocation. IA reserves the right to revoke or invalidate any Ticket obtained through fraud, misrepresentation, unauthorized resale, or violation of these Terms or Event rules, without refund.
10. Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, IA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to Ticket purchase or Event attendance. IA’s total aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount actually paid by Attendee for the applicable Ticket.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction. These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the State of California, without regard to the principles of conflicts of law, and any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of Sacramento, California.
12. Notice. IA may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Event registration page, and continued attendance at the Event constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Miscellaneous. Attendees requiring reasonable accommodations should contact icc@inductiveautomation.com. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between IA and Attendee regarding the Ticket and Event. Personal information from Attendees is handled in accordance with IA’s Privacy Policy located at https://inductiveautomation.com/privacypolicy.
