2016 Project

LafargeHolcim

Ignition Helps Huge Company Empower Thousands of Users

This project is for LafargeHolcim’s Technical Information System (TIS). The TIS software will become the primary place to access industrial performance information for the cement branch of the company. The aim is to have 30,000 employees using it. The goal is to have a very high level of user interface, with no training needed.

Presented By:

Dominique Wille

Dominique Wille is a kind of super-geek who has gone wild in the heavy industry for a whopping 15 years and 80 countries ... and now back to the roots. He is currently program manager for moving LafargeHolcim cement plants to Ignition, so he is a kind of internal evangelist at a 150-year-old company. As the project is enormous, LafargeHolcim could be considered also as a captive integrator for itself, that uses also some other integrators. This submission is made with references to Perfect Abstractions (USA) and ODS (France), which have developed the product following LafargeHolcim requirements.
